This episode, as always, is brought to you by the law offices of E. Jason Blankenship, who may be socially distanced from the courthouse but is still taking on clients. You can find his new website here.
You can follow Connor on Twitter and subscribe to his newsletter, A Lonely Impulse of Delight, that includes literary analysis of Calvin & Hobbes and, blissfully, nothing about Michigan athletics. Dan is not a writer but he is @ThiccStauskas on Twitter. If you’d like to hear more, the two co-host the newly titled Yet Another Michigan Football Podcast.
[Writeup after the jump]
SEGMENT ONE: OHIO STATE IS CANCELED
Discussing our feelings about the cancelation of the OSU game, which was obviously the right move for player safety, though our relief about not having to watch all that is secondary to concern for those stricken with COVID. We spend more time on whether OSU or Indiana should be in the Big Ten title game. You may be surprised by the consensus.
SEGMENT TWO: CRAZY LIKE A FOX?
We try to make sense of the current Jim Harbaugh extension rumors and Warde Manuel’s stated timeline. Is Manuel botching this or playing it as best he can with the cards he’s been dealt? It might be tough to tell the difference until we know the outcome.
SEGMENT THREE: EVEN WE AREN’T THAT SELF-LOATHING
We address the issue of whether Michigan is too difficult a job for a coach to win at an elite, sustained level.
